...EXTREME COLD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST SUNDAY... ...HIGH WIND WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT... * WHAT...For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 10 below. For the High Wind Warning, northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. * WHERE...Caroline, Kent MD, Queen Annes, and Talbot Counties. * WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until noon EST Sunday. For the High Wind Warning, until midnight EST tonight. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
