* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 15 to 25 kt
with gusts up to 35 kt and seas 6 to 9 ft at 7 seconds expected.
For the Hazardous Seas Warning, north winds 20 to 30 kt with
gusts to 35 kt and very steep and hazardous seas 8 to 10 ft at
7 to 8 seconds expected.

* WHERE...Steep seas south of Port Orford and within 40 nm of
shore during Monday morning, then all of the area Monday
afternoon into early Tuesday afternoon. Very steep seas are
expected Tuesday afternoon and evening 5 to 30 nm from shore
from Cape Ferrelo south with steep seas continuing elsewhere.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 8 AM Monday to 11 PM
PDT Tuesday. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 2 PM to 11
PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
treacherous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
