alarm stage from the heavy rain earlier due to thunderstorms.
Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned
area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.

Cave Creek, Beardsley Canal, Agua Fria River, Deadman Wash, Skunk

have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including all of
Maricopa County, Northern and Western Pinal County, and Southern
Gila County.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, normally dry washes, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The combination of abundant moisture and a weather system moving
into the region will support rounds of showers and thunderstorms
today through this evening. Moderate to heavy rainfall with
rainfall rates in excess of 1-2 inches per hour is expected with
most storms. Some areas will see training of storms leading to
high rainfall accumulations.
