...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AKST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and periods of wintry mix expected. Total snow
accumulations between 5 and 12 inches expected and ice
accumulations up to 0.05 inches possible. Winds gusting as high as
35 mph.

* WHERE...Bering Strait Coast, Interior Seward Peninsula, Northern
Seward Peninsula, Shishmaref, and Southern Seward Peninsula Coast.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility to 1/2 mile or
less at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain and rain may mix in at times
along the coast.
