Caribbean waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the coastal waters of Saint Croix... Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico out 10 NM... * At 724 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 40 knots. These strong thunderstorms were located over open waters of Coastal waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and just north of Culebra and Saint John, Caribbean waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the coastal waters of Saint Croix and Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico out 10 NM zones, moving northwest at 25 knots. Locations impacted include... Mainly open waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and just north of Culebra and Saint John, Caribbean waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the coastal waters of Saint Croix and Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico out 10 NM. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 40 knots, locally higher waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. &&
