...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM MST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 8 inches toward Bondurant/Hoback Junction; amounts of 2 to 4 inches near Pinedale. Additional snow accumulations of 10 to 20 inches in the mountains. Gusty winds of 20 to 35 mph across the Upper Green River Basin and west Wind River Mountains, and up to 45 mph across the highest elevations. Wind gusts as high as 45 mph over South Pass Friday night. * WHERE...Wind River Mountains West and Upper Green River Basin Foothills. * WHEN...Until 2 PM MST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow is expected to lighten in intensity between 8AM and 2PM Friday, with accumulations generally between a Trace and 3 inches. Moderate to heavy snowfall begins after 3PM Friday and continues through the overnight hours, this is when a bulk of the additional snow accumulations will occur. Gusty west winds of 20 to 35 mph are expected after sunset Friday and continue into Saturday morning. Heavy snowfall and gusty winds could cause reduced visibility and drifting snow.
