At 350 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles south of Hendricks to Mill Creek to near Birch
River, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Elkins, Sutton, Gassaway, Mill Creek, Dailey, Holly River State Park,
Rock Cave, Beverly, Junior, Flatwoods, Womelsdorf (Coalton),
Huttonsville, Alexander, Eden, Cleveland, Helvetia, Pickens, Little
Birch, Bowden, and Hacker Valley.

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 323 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
