* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, north winds 20 to 30 kt with
gusts up to 35 kt and waves 6 to 11 ft occurring. For the
Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing spray at a rate
of 2 cm per hour or greater occurring, and may rapidly
accumulate on vessels.

* WHERE...Saxon Harbor WI to Black River MI, Black River to
Ontonagon MI, Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI
and Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to
Portage Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border
including Isle Royale National Park.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ Monday.
For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, until 7 PM EST /6 PM
CST/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is
hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic
components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and
superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of
stability. Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on
their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area
or conduct mitigation.

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO NOON CST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 32 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Price, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer,
and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red
Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation, the Lac Courte Oreilles
Reservation, the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band and
the St. Croix Band in Burnett County. Other locations including
the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to noon CST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to
2 inches, except between 3 and 6 inches for northern Iron County.
Northwest winds gusting as high as 35 mph tonight into Monday
morning.

* WHERE...Iron County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the
northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of strong winds and falling
snow will lead to areas of blowing snow and greatly reduced
visibility. Snowfall rates in excess of one half inch per hour are
possible tonight in northern Iron County.
