Issued: 5:47 PM Nov. 7, 2025 – National Weather Service
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON...
...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves. For the
Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding expected.
Inundation of up to two feet above ground level is possible
along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas.

* WHERE...Grays Harbor County Coast zone, including Westport.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding due to tidal overflow is
expected around high tide. This may lead to flooding of parking

expected. Strong surf can knock people off their feet, move
driftwood and debris causing injury, and cause localized beach
and coastal erosion.

before waves begin to gradually subside later in the day
Friday. Minor coastal flooding is expected around high tide on
Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Inundation above ground level refers to the height above the Mean
Higher High Water (MHHW) level.

Never turn your back on the ocean and keep children and pets
close. Know the tides and surf forecast. Follow warning signs and
respect barriers.
