...BLOWING DUST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM PDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Visibility between one-quarter and one mile in blowing dust expected. * WHERE...Pullman, Downtown Spokane, La Crosse, Oakesdale, Rockford, Grand Coulee, Ritzville, Creston, Tekoa, Waterville, Coulee City, Harrington, Odessa, Badger Mountain Road, Uniontown, Mansfield, Rosalia, Fairfield, Cheney, Colfax, Davenport, Wilbur, Spokane Valley, and Airway Heights. * WHEN...From noon today to 7 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust possible anywhere in the advisory, but strongest winds and highest potential for blowing dust expected along US-2 between Waterville and Airway Heights and I-90 from Ritzville to Spokane. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Persons with respiratory problems should make preparations to stay indoors until the storm passes. Be ready for a sudden drop in visibility to near zero. If you encounter blowing dust or blowing sand on the roadway or see it approaching, pull off the road as far as possible and put your vehicle in park.
