...Light Snow Accumulations in the Mountains of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia Tonight... Light rain starting late this evening will transition into snow overnight. Light snow accumulations will be possible in higher elevations of southwest Virginia and the East Tennessee mountains into early Sunday morning. Accumulations will generally be one- inch or less, however, isolated totals up to two inches will be possible in the highest peaks and ridges. Motorists should be cautious of slippery road conditions, especially across the higher elevations and elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses, for Sunday morning commutes.
