...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM MDT THIS MORNING THROUGH
LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Castle
Country, Central Mountains, San Rafael Swell, Bryce Canyon Country,
Southern Mountains and Upper Sevier River Valleys.

* WHEN...From 6 AM MDT this morning through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn scars
including Cottonwood, Widemouth 2, France Canyon, Monroe Canyon,
Forsyth, and Silver King.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Deep tropical moisture will combine with an upper level low
crossing the Desert Southwest to bring an increased threat of
flash flooding through late tonight. Widespread rainfall totals
of 0.75 to 1.75 inches, with locally higher amounts in excess of
2 inches will occur.
