...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Castle
Country, Central Mountains, San Rafael Swell and Wasatch
Plateau/Book Cliffs.

* WHEN...Through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn
scars.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A widespread area of light to moderate rainfall will move through
the area tonight, helping to the keep the area saturated and more
easily prone to flooding. Additional showers and thunderstorms
capable of heavy rainfall are expected Thursday afternoon and
evening.
