...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast New Mexico, including the following
areas, Central Lea and Northern Lea and western Texas, including
the following areas, Borden, Dawson, Gaines and Scurry.

* WHEN...From this evening through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected
to develop this evening through late tonight and will be
capable of producing heavy rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches,
with localized totals in excess of 3 inches.
