...PATCHY TO AREAS OF FOG THIS MORNING... Patchy to areas of fog have developed across portions of the Coastal Plains this morning. Expect visibilities generally 1 to 3 miles with a few locations seeing visibilities 1/4 mile or less at times. Use caution if traveling as visibility may change rapidly in a short amount of time. Use low beam headlights and leave extra distance between your vehicle and others on the road.

...PATCHY TO AREAS FOG ACROSS NEARSHORE WATERS AND BAYS THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING... Patchy fog to areas of fog is developing across nearshore waters and the bays this evening. Visibilities will generally remain greater than 2 miles, but a few locations may see visibility briefly fall below 1 mile at times through Friday morning. If you experience dense fog, proceed with caution. Use proper fog signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use your radar and compass.
