For the Freeze Warning, hard freeze with air temperatures as low as 19 expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, southwest, and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas. * WHEN...Until 10 AM CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
