counties, Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland,
Davidson, De Kalb, Dickson, Fentress, Giles, Grundy, Hickman,
Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall,
Maury, Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson,
Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren,
Wayne, White, Williamson and Wilson.

* WHEN...From Monday morning through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A swath of heavy rainfall is expected to set up across Middle
TN Monday. Confidence is low on exact placing, but confidence
is high that atmospheric conditions will be favorable for
heavy rainfall.

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southern Lawrence County in middle Tennessee...
Southeastern Wayne County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 1230 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall
rate is 1 to 3 inches in 2 hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 1
to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Loretto, Collinwood, St. Joseph, Westpoint, Iron City and Leoma.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
