For the second Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 113 expected. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina. * WHEN...For the first Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT this evening. For the second Extreme Heat Warning, from 11 AM to 8 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For the Extreme Heat Warning, the highest heat index values are expected from noon through 5 PM today. Additionally, isolated showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon could provide relief in some areas. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
