* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 924 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Mount Pleasant, Isle Of Palms, Awendaw, Price Inlet, Capers Inlet,
Bull Island, Capers Island, Dewees Island and Whitehall Terrace.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Bulls Bay, Dewees Island, US-17 Charleston National, Wando River,
Capers Island, Mt Pleasant Airport and Bull Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

FOR BERKELEY AND CHARLESTON COUNTIES...

At 950 PM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain in portions of West Ashley, Downtown Charleston, and Mount
Pleasant. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Downtown Charleston, Daniel

* WHAT...Northeast winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and
seas 6 to 9 ft possible.

* WHERE...South Santee River to Edisto Beach out 20 NM.

* WHEN...From late Monday night through late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.
