The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, heavy rain is still possible with these thunderstorms. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT Thursday for portions of northwest and western Pennsylvania. &&

Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
