At 609 PM EST, a band of moderate to heavy snow was located along a line extending from Loganton to near Huntingdon. Movement was east at 45 mph. Locations impacted include... Altoona, State College, Lewistown, Huntingdon, Milton, Lewisburg, Hollidaysburg, Mifflinburg, Woodward, Boalsburg, Roaring Spring, Mount Union, Watsontown, Burnham, Martinsburg, Lakemont, Belleville, Claysburg, Pine Grove Mills, and Milroy. The snow can accumulate at a rate of one inch per hour in this band of heavy snow. Be prepared for hazardous driving conditions. Consider delaying travel if you will be going through this band of heavy snow. If you are driving, slow down and be on alert for other motorists.
