...FLOOD WATCH FOR AN ICE JAM REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by ice jams is possible. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset. * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Significant ice breakup on area rivers and creeks has been observed over the last few days as a result of an extended stretch of mild temperatures. A final round of moderate to heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms will come to an end during the morning commute hours this Friday. Rainfall between 0.5 and 0.75 of an inch fell overnight in the watch area.
