Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania... * WHEN...Until 915 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 704 AM EDT, Pennsylvania DOT reported flooding at the I-476 and I-76 interchange in West Conshohocken. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that could experience flooding include... In New Jersey, Camden, Gloucester, and Northwestern Burlington Counties. In Pennsylvania, Delaware, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks, and Philadelphia Counties. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
