...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM EDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Heat index values up to 104 expected. * WHERE...Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, and York Counties. * WHEN...From 11 AM to 8 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Smoke aloft from wildfires in Ontario and northern Minnesota may help to lower the temperatures a degree or two from current expectations for Wednesday. If it does, that would help to lessen concerns for heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an air-conditioned room.
