NORTHEASTERN MONONGALIA COUNTIES...

At 429 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Uniontown to 8 miles northwest of Kingwood, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Uniontown, Masontown, Farmington, Fairdale, Point Marion,
Brookhaven, Fairchance, Smithfield, Nemacolin, Carmichaels, New
Salem, Markleysburg, Greensboro, Brandonville, Chalkhill, Bruceton
Mills, Ohiopyle, Clifton Mills and Laurel Run.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following
areas, Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison,
Jefferson OH, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble and Tuscarawas,
Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Allegheny, Beaver,
Fayette, Greene, Higher Elevations of Fayette, Higher Elevations of
Westmoreland, Washington and Westmoreland, and West Virginia,
including the following areas, Brooke, Eastern Preston, Eastern
Tucker, Hancock, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio, Preston,
Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston, Western
Tucker and Wetzel.

* WHEN...Through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An additional 1.0 to 1.5 inches of rain is possible with
thunderstorms this afternoon, with isolated higher totals. With
soil still wet from recent rainfall, such rain totals could lead
to new and/or renewed flash flooding, especially in locations
that see multiple thunderstorms.
