...AREAS OF FOG ALONG THE NORTH AND CENTRAL OREGON COAST...

Areas of fog, some locally dense, have developed early this
morning, resulting in roadway visibility of less than one mile.
Morning commuters should expect to encounter areas of rapidly
changing visibility.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you. If walking or cycling, wear bright or
reflective clothing and carry a light to increase your visibility
to drivers.

* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce
visibility to 1 NM or less. For the Small Craft Advisory, seas
4 to 6 ft at 7 seconds and north winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up
to 25 kt expected.

* WHERE...Inner Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence
out 10 NM.

* WHEN...Dense Fog Advisory, until noon PDT today. Small Craft
Advisory, from 2 PM this afternoon to 2 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low
visibility will make navigation difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
