...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST FRIDAY... * WHAT...Very steep and hazardous seas 13 to 17 ft at 14 seconds and west winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt expected. * WHERE...Portions of South Washington, North Oregon coastal waters. * WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause damage to vessels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Within the Columbia River Bar, general seas of 12 to 14 ft subsiding to 9 ft Saturday morning. First ebb current of 3.97 kt at 523 AM Friday. Seas 12 to 14 ft. Second very strong ebb current of 7.32 kt at 536 PM Friday. Seas 13 to 15 ft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in port, or take shelter until waves subside.
