seas 10 to 13 ft at 13 seconds. Wednesday, winds becoming north
25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt, and seas becoming very steep
10 to 13 ft at 8 seconds.

* WHERE...All areas.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 11 AM PDT
Wednesday. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 11 AM
Wednesday to 5 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
treacherous.

...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING
THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...A moderate risk for sneaker waves is expected.

* WHERE...Douglas, Coos ,and Curry county beaches.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Sneaker waves can run up significantly farther on
beaches than normal, including over rocks and jetties. These
waves can suddenly knock people off of their feet and sweep them
into the ocean. The waves can also move logs or other objects
which could crush or trap anyone caught underneath.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid climbing on rocks and jetties. Stay away from the ocean and
remain out of the water to avoid hazardous conditions.
