Wednesday, winds becoming north 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt, and seas becoming very steep 10 to 13 ft at 8 seconds. * WHERE...All areas. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 11 AM PDT Wednesday. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 11 AM Wednesday to 5 PM PDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or damage vessels. ...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...A moderate risk for sneaker waves is expected. * WHERE...Douglas, Coos ,and Curry county beaches. * WHEN...From Wednesday evening through late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...Sneaker waves can run up significantly farther on beaches than normal, including over rocks and jetties. These waves can suddenly knock people off of their feet and sweep them into the ocean.
