...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 1 AM CDT
MONDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast and southeast
Oklahoma.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 1 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Winds this strong can make driving difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong cold front will push into
northeast Oklahoma late this afternoon and will move quickly
southward into the evening. Within a couple hours of frontal
passage, wind gusts will be strong and may reach 45 to 50 mph.
Wind gusts should begin to taper down after midnight tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should exercise caution while driving.  Be alert to
sudden gusts of wind which may cause you to lose control of your
vehicle.  Extra attention should be given to cross winds and on
bridges and overpasses.
