...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of east central, southeast, and southern Oklahoma, including the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc. In southeast Oklahoma, Johnston. In southern Oklahoma, Carter, Garvin and Murray. * WHEN...Until 645 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 434 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ardmore, Sulphur, Davis, Lone Grove, Dickson, Roff, Springer, Dougherty, Gene Autry, Tatums, Hickory, Turner Falls, Lake Of The Arbuckles, Milo, Scullin, Hennepin, Pooleville and northwestern Lake Murray. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
