In west central Ohio, Champaign and Logan. * WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 218 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Bellefontaine, Urbana, West Liberty, North Lewisburg, West Mansfield, Ridgeway, Valley Hi, Zanesfield, Pickrelltown, Mingo, Middleburg, Kennard, East Liberty, Cable, New Jerusalem, Pottersburg, Lippincott, Raymond, Westville and Byhalia. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
