For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels. * WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to Vermilion OH. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 PM EST Friday. For the Low Water Advisory, until 4 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...West winds have resulted in low water on the western basin of Lake Erie. As of 2:30 PM EST, the water level at Toledo was 4 inches above low water datum. The critical mark for safe naviation is 5 inches below low water datum. The water level is expected to lower to near the critical mark this evening into early tonight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions. Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due to below normal water levels. &&
