...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...For areas along Irondequoit Creek in Monroe County.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 402 AM EDT, Between 3 and 4 inches of rain has fallen from
earlier thunderstorms within the Irondequoit Creek water
basin. This has pushed the gauge on Irondequoit Creek near
Blossom Road to 9.6 feet. Continued run-off will maintain
water levels producing minor flooding along the creek through
the morning hours today. Flooding is expected within Ellison
Park. The water level on Irondequoit Creek is expected to
slowly recede through the day.

Ellison Park, Irondequoit, East Rochester, Fairport,
Brighton, Penfield and Pittsford.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where

killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Along the Lake Erie shoreline and inland across the
northern Niagara Frontier to Monroe County.

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Fully
leafed tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.
