...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Minor tidal flooding is occurring in low lying areas along the Hudson River. * WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following counties, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester. * WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Expect around 1 to 1 1/2, locally 2 ft of inundation above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns and homes/businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 534 PM EDT, Tidal gauges and spotter photos from Cold Spring indicated minor flooding was still ongoing in low lying areas along the Hudson River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
