...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING... ...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central New York, including the following county, Steuben. * WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 113 AM EDT, Emergency management reported heavy rain that led to flooding of State Routes 36, 417, and County Route 68 at Honey Run Road. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area from the next round of showers. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hornell, Canisteo, Woodhull, Jasper, Troupsburg, Arkport, Greenwood, Hartsville, South Dansville, North Hornell, Buena Vista, West Greenwood, Young Hickory and Willeyville. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
