...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 5
AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Southerly winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 50 to 60 mph
expected Friday morning, then southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with
gusts up to 60 mph Friday afternoon through late Friday night.

* WHERE...Chautauqua County. Strongest wind gusts Friday morning
will be along the Lake Erie shore, with more widespread winds
across the county late Friday afternoon through Friday night.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 5 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees. If possible,
remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 4 to 7 inches
across the higher terrain. 1 to 2 inches expected for the lower
elevations. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph will produce blowing
and drifting snow, mainly overnight when temperatures fall into
the 20s.

* WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie
counties.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 8 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult. Impacts will be after the
evening commute. Strong winds will cause tree damage and possible
power outages.
