...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...High temperatures between 99 and 105 expected. * WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area, Sandia and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, and Lower Rio Grande Valley. * WHEN...Until 8 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The hottest temperatures will occur around Albuquerque, Los Lunas, Belen, Socorro, and in other lower elevation locations within the Rio Grande Valley. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. If you do not have air conditioning in your home or lack shelter, you can call 211 for assistance locating appropriate shelter from the heat. &&
