...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 4 inches below 7500 feet, and between 4 and 8 inches above 7500 feet. Locally up to 10 inches on the highest peaks of the Jemez and Sangre de Cristo Mountains. * WHERE...Far Northwest Highlands, Glorieta Mesa Including Glorieta Pass, Jemez Mountains, Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Tusas Mountains Including Chama, Upper Rio Grande Valley, Far Northeast Highlands, and Northeast Highlands. * WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Tire traction will be reduced. Extend the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you. This includes I-25 over Glorieta Pass. The hazardous conditions will impact commutes this evening and Thursday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will continue to accumulate near the Colorado border through mid day, then spread further south this afternoon.
