HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. In addition the strong winds will create areas of blowing dust which could reduce visibilities for motorists along US70 west of Holloman AFB. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of western Otero County. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
