...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM EDT THIS
MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...In Delaware, Delaware Beaches. In New Jersey, Eastern
Monmouth, Atlantic Coastal Cape May, Coastal Atlantic and
Coastal Ocean.

* WHEN...From 8 AM EDT this morning through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water temperatures are in the 50s to low
60s. These cold water temperatures can quickly cause
hypothermia and physical incapacitation to anyone suddenly
immersed in the water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Always obey posted Beach Flags. If you enter the surf zone,
always have a floatation device with you and swim near a
lifeguard if possible. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float and do not swim against the current. If able, swim parallel
to the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or
wave for help.

Inlet NJ out 20 NM, Coastal waters from Little Egg Inlet to
Great Egg Inlet NJ out 20 NM, Coastal waters from Great Egg
Inlet to Cape May NJ out 20 NM, Coastal waters from Cape May
NJ to Cape Henlopen DE out 20 NM and Coastal waters from Cape
Henlopen to Fenwick Island DE out 20 NM.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
