Wind gusts 35-40 mph, locally up to 45 mph. * WHERE...Northeast New Jersey, Rockland and Northern Westchester Counties in southeast New York, and Northern Fairfield and New Haven Counties in southern Connecticut. * WHEN...Until noon EDT today. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strong winds will last for a very long duration, possibly exceeding 24-36 hours. Considering the long duration rain fall and full foliage of trees, impacts may be exacerbated. The highest localized winds are expected to occur on eastern Long Island and southern New London county.
