Winds turn to the northwest behind a strong cold front Friday afternoon. There may be a lull in the strongest wind gusts late Friday morning before the cold front passes through the region. Wind gusts in the wake of the front up to 50 MPH are possible. * WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, central, northern, northwest, and southern New Jersey, and east central and southeast Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From 1 AM Friday to 1 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Winds will shift from southwest to west Friday afternoon. * WHERE...Long Island Sound, New York Harbor, Peconic and Gardiners Bays, and South Shore Bays from Jones Inlet through Shinnecock Bay. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
