FOR SUSSEX...SOUTHEASTERN KENT...CUMBERLAND...SOUTHERN SALEM...
SOUTHEASTERN GLOUCESTER AND NORTHWESTERN CAPE MAY COUNTIES...

At 717 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Quinton to 7 miles southwest of Fortesque to
Harrington to Sycamore, moving southeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vineland, Dover, Millville, Bridgeton, Georgetown, Cumberland,
Milford, Seaford, Salem, Millsboro, Laurel Lake, Laurel, Harrington,
Alloway, Camden, Lewes, Quinton, Milton, Selbyville, and Bridgeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
