...RED FLAG WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO MIDNIGHT MST TONIGHT FOR LOW RH, STRONG WINDS, AND DRY FUELS FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 417, 418, 432, 433, 434, 435, 436, AND 437... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 417, 418, 432, 433, 434, 435, 436, and 437. * WIND...Sustained winds 30 to 50 mph. Gusts in excess of 55 to 70 mph. * HUMIDITY...RH values 15 to 30%. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Although conditions will be borderline in some zones, a lack of significant precipitation combined with the very high winds in the region will create a critical fire weather environment. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. &&

Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wildfires will have the potential to spread rapidly in these conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring.
