FIRE WEATHER ZONES 417, 418, 432, 433, 434, 435, 436, AND 437...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 417, 418, 432, 433, 434, 435,
436, and 437.

* WIND...Sustained winds 30 to 50 mph. Gusts in excess of 55 to
70 mph.

* HUMIDITY...RH values 15 to 30%.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended. Although conditions will
be borderline in some zones, a lack of significant
precipitation combined with the very high winds in the region
will create a critical fire weather environment.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

* WHERE...Banner County, Kimball County, Northern Sioux County,
Scotts Bluff County, and Southern Sioux County.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 11 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be
hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including
campers and tractor trailers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wildfires will have the potential to spread
rapidly in these conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or
occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 MPH or gusts of 58
MPH or stronger can lead to property damage.
