...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT FOR EAST CENTRAL BURLEIGH, CENTRAL KIDDER AND NORTHWESTERN STUTSMAN COUNTIES... At 930 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 7 miles southeast of Woodworth to 11 miles south of Wing, or along a line from 26 miles northwest of Jamestown to 29 miles northeast of Bismarck, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Wing, Tuttle, Pettibone, Woodworth, Robinson, Lake Williams, Chase Lake, Horsehead Lake and Arena. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing widespread damaging winds and dangerous hail. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure.
