COUNTIES...

At 930 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 7
miles southeast of Woodworth to 11 miles south of Wing, or along a
line from 26 miles northwest of Jamestown to 29 miles northeast of
Bismarck, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Wing, Tuttle, Pettibone, Woodworth, Robinson, Lake Williams, Chase
Lake, Horsehead Lake and Arena.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and dangerous hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

...EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 95 to
105 possible. High temperatures will range from around 92 to 102
Saturday, 97 to 107 on Sunday, and 95 to 105 on Monday.

* WHERE...All of western and central North Dakota including the James
River Valley.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight low temperatures will only drop to
around 70 degrees, providing little relief from the heat.
