...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR STUTSMAN, LOGAN, McINTOSH, LaMOURE, AND DICKEY COUNTIES IN NORTH DAKOTA... The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 7 PM CDT this evening. * WINDS...Westerly around 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent. * AFFECTED AREA...Stutsman, Logan, McIntosh, Lamoure and Dickey Counties. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.
