inches. Localized higher amounts in excess of 10 inches are
possible across southern and eastern portions of Currituck County.
Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast North Carolina and southeast
Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel
treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel could be very
difficult. Strong winds could cause tree damage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. In North Carolina, go to
