shortly in the advisory area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen.

area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

At 557 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Albemarle, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
