...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT ALAMANCE...MOORE...WESTERN ORANGE...EASTERN MONTGOMERY...NORTHEASTERN RICHMOND...EASTERN RANDOLPH...EASTERN GUILFORD...WESTERN LEE AND CHATHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 230 AM EDT... At 132 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Camp Springs to 10 miles northeast of Biscoe to 14 miles south of Troy. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Greensboro, Burlington, Sanford, Asheboro, Graham, Southern Pines, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, Carthage, and Siler City. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
