* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with
gusts up to 50 mph expected. For the Extreme Cold Warning,
dangerously cold wind chills as low as 1 above expected.

* WHERE...East Carteret County.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 7 AM this morning to 4 AM EST
Sunday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 10 PM this evening to
10 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing
temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
